Maximillian Amster
Managing Partner

Mr. Amster is the Managing Partner and Founder of Bay Advocacy PLLC. He brings a unique mix of legal experience, financial acumen, and entrepreneurial creativity to the firm’s work on behalf of plaintiffs. Mr. Amster is also the CEO and Founder of Veridis Management LLC, an investment management company focused on legal and regulatory risk.

Before founding Bay Advocacy PLLC and Veridis, Mr. Amster spent his early career as a private equity investor. Most recently, Mr. Amster was a Partner and Investment Committee Member at Avesta, a private equity real estate partnership. During his tenure, the firm grew from $125 million of assets to over $1 billion.

He also worked as Principal and General Counsel at Jeb Bush & Associates LLC, a merchant bank founded by former-Governor Jeb Bush with interests in energy, shipping, transportation, and real estate.

Mr. Amster has a J.D. from Harvard Law School, where he served as Notes Editor for the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy and Vice-President of The Federalist Society. During law school, Mr. Amster worked at Alston & Bird, the Senate Judiciary Committee, and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida.

Mr. Amster also has a B.A. in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin.

Danielle Diaz
of counsel

Danielle Diaz is Of Counsel at Bay Advocacy PLLC. Ms. Diaz is also Senior Director of Investments at Veridis Management LLC, an investment management company focused on legal and regulatory risk.

Before joining Bay Advocacy PLLC, Ms. Diaz was Of Counsel at Greenberg Traurig, P.A., where her practice focused on complex commercial litigation. Ms. Diaz has broad experience in various aspects of litigation, including motions practice, discovery, settlement, trial preparation, and appellate briefs.

Ms. Diaz graduated magna cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law, where she served as the Managing Editor of the University of Miami Law Review and was inducted into the Order of the Coif.

Ms. Diaz also received a B.A. cum laude in Psychology from The George Washington University.
